Seafood Restaurant La Mer Rouge Cote Des Neiges Montreal

First time here & the food was great! I had the shrimp tempura and it was nice and fresh, the shrimp and the potatoes were super crisp. We also had the fried calamari, so good! The owner is super nice and friendly, he even lowered the music so we could talk more :) Everything on the menu is affordable, we’ll be back!

The food was delicious, the owner is very cute and the service was impeccable. Fish is very tasty, I am so full and will be back for sure. New favorite spot in town! Yummy! Bonus point for the bidet.

The best seafood I had so far. Fresh fish perfect spices generous portions. Excellent service. They make food like my moma. I found my go to place for seafood, I can't wait to try more things.I had the red snapper with fries and fish and chips with bass fish so flavorful.

Great for parties or big group gatherings. It seems customers can even call ahead to request specific seafood they want. The Waiter is super friendly and he makes the best effort to accommodate us. Food is excellent. You pick the protein, the kitchen will cook and serve. The way they season the food is very pleasant, the spices they add are not too strong so you can still taste the sweetness of the seafood itself. Totally recommended.

I had an amazing experience at this seafood restaurant in Montreal. It’s honestly one of the best I’ve ever eaten at. The servers were welcoming, attentive, and made the whole meal feel special. The food was outstanding — the calamari was perfectly cooked, and the grilled fish was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Visited this cozy seafood restaurant on a quiet Monday and was pleasantly surprised. It's not fancy, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I had the fried seafood platter—crispy, light, and full of flavor. My mom had the grilled tilapia with salad and said it was one of the best she’s had. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. Plus, being back in my childhood neighborhood made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend if you're looking for great seafood in a relaxed setting!

Best seafood restaurant in town!!! We went there for dinner, and I really like the lovely decoration. The staff were nice and friendly. We ordered seafood soup, grilled fish, fried potato, shrimp and salad. And oh my god, the food was soooo good, fresh and tasty. Will definitely come back.

I ordered the combo which has shrimps, calamary, 3 kinds of fish and rice. Also ordered the seafood soup. Every things so perfect ans yummy. I prefer more salty but they serve salt & pepper on table so it's totally fine. The restaurant is clean and colorful. The staffs are really nice but not sure if they can speak fluently in both english and french. Also the price on the menu is old price, need to be updated. Btw, I will be back :) thank you for the yummy foods.
